Tonight's run felt extra lonely. Probably because

Tonight's run felt extra lonely. Probably because the rain left the trail an unusual ghost town.

Solitude is hard for me sometimes.

As much as I spend time with people, I've spent a lot of time alone in this stage of my life. I've become more accustomed to going out and doing things on my own. Even nice restaurants, bars, shows, and movies. I'm not a homebody and I sometimes don't have time to coordinate with family and friends. I'm not holding back for a future that's not guaranteed.

It's been a good lesson for me learning to be more comfortable with myself and reminding me that no other person is responsible for making me happy. With that said, I'm very happy to have many great friends in my life so that my extrovert side gets fed.
