Day 33: Purple

Moments of prayer are when I can find peace. Incense is a beautiful visual of rising prayer and a familiar smell.

2 weeks in quarantine has been difficult for me. I need people. I miss going mass, I miss going to the office, I miss spending time with friends in person. I miss hugs.

I know that we're doing this for more than ourselves, but it doesn't make it easier. It is beautiful to experience to share this unique communal sacrifice.

As Passiontide begins, I feel the weight of lent in a unique way. I mean it when I say I'm praying for you friends, I've had more time for it these days. In a special way for those that are sick and many of my friends that have lost their job.
