One of the organizations that I helped found and lead as a side project, Austin Catholic New Media, has decided to launch a rebrand of the name to ATX Catholic. As a group of over 20 different contributors from the Diocese of Austin, we decided upon our new name that we already owned as of launch.
While the new name is a little more generic, it is easier for the average person to remember. I am very pleased with the outcome.
Along with the name change, our logo underwent a subtle refresh to make it easier to read in smaller sizes. The same elements were maintained from the original and were only slightly adjusted.
- The dots represent the pixels that make up the digital continent we are intending to evangelize.
- The dots for an “A” shape for the Austin area.
- The highlighted dots form a cross to proclaim our mission of bringing Jesus to the world around us.
Thank you all for the support and encouragement. May God bless and keep you.
