Even though this category is only three quarters of a year old, I decided to rename it to be easier to understand my intentions.
What was known as “What I’m Into” is now labeled “Selected Interests & Inspirations.”

Music
Sam Smith – Lay Me Down ft. John Legend
These two incredible singers do an amazing job with this song.
Andy Grammer – Honey, I’m Good
This radio his is incredibly catchy and gets stuck in your head easily. I also appreciate that it’s in attempts to be faithful in his relationship.
The Brilliance – Brother
The Brilliance is a band I mention often because I really believe in what their mission as a band. Last month, they released their new album, Brother. The title track is certainly one of my favorites, and most beautiful in spiritual reflection of the new songs on the album.

Touch the Sky – Hillsong United
New song released this month. Has a very contemporary sound, and solid lyrics.
I Know I Need You – Ryan Ellis
I really like the rhythms and beats of Ryan Ellis. He has great music he recently released. Kingdom/Glory is one of the best on the album.
Eikon – Take a Moment (Unites Pursuit Cover)
Will Regan and United Pursuit are some of my favorites in the CCM world. This is a wonderful cover and fresh take on a song that didn’t get much attention.
Kingslynn – Young Bride
This came a fairly unknown band, but I really enjoy their unique sound.
Hold On We’re Going Home – Covey (Drake Cover)
This is almost a year old now, but this is a song I really enjoy in a beautiful cover. My favorites cover of this song is by Matt Cab and another by Darran Day. He doesn’t have much music out, but he has an incredible original song titles Comes and Goes.

Reading
Called to Love – Carl Anderson
This past month I read a book that takes a different approach to Theology of the Body and tries to filter it down to be a little more digestible. While it does make it shorter, it doesn’t simplify it much and stays very philosophical and academic. It still does a good job bring a new perspective on this wonderful teaching of the Church.
