I have always enjoyed the art from the Renaissance, and it’s often a great source of inspiration for my own work. In my latest post at Austin CNM, I highlight some fascinating faces that perfectly capture the expressions of the subject, but somehow look funny enough to remind me of other situations. I enjoy an opportunity to remind myself and others that our faith is often taken to be drier than it was intended to be.
Our faith is a source of joy and peace, but too often do we act tired and bitter. In my latest post, I combine art and honesty to share some struggles of the season of Advent with a little irreverence but complete sincerity.
